Start by adding a patient

π How to use CMP Dictation

Add the patient
Click ADD NEW PATIENT on the left sidebar. Enter their name and a Patient ID (e.g. PT-001). Click Save.

Select the patient
Click their name in the left sidebar to open their chart. The consult form will appear here.

Activate voice typing
Click inside the Dictation box. Then press your voice typing shortcut:

A microphone icon will appear on screen. Speak naturally β dictate the full consult summary.

Generate the SOAP note
Click β¨ Generate SOAP note. AI will automatically format your dictation into Subjective, Objective, Assessment, and Plan sections.

Review, save and copy
Edit any field if needed. Click πΎ Save note to database to store it permanently. Click π Copy full note to paste into Helix, Word, or anywhere else.
π‘ Tip: Voice typing is free and unlimited β it runs entirely on your device. Only the SOAP note generation uses your Anthropic API (less than $0.01 per note).
